Rebirthing

I used to celebrate Easter in the Christian tradition. However, I am not Christian anymore, so I celebrate this season and holiday in my own way. I celebrate most of the Western holidays in my own way. To me, Easter and the season of Spring represents a rebirthing. It is a time of reflection and a internal growth for me. Being a woman, and experiencing my menstrual cycle, it is a time for me to connect with my divine femininity. It is a time for me to be soft and gentle with myself. I strive to always be this way within, when necessary, but this is a time where I am extra sensitive and attentive to my needs and emotions. This is a time when I tap into my subconscious mind to shift through any narratives that no longer serve me. I also take into consideration things about myself and the world around me that I may have never considered before.
This is a time of joy and happiness. While never forgetting the hard emotions underneath. This is a time of merging light and dark energies. This is a time for flow and balance. This is a time where I put plans and movement into action. This is a time when I do what I say and say as I do. This is a time where what I desire to manifest may come true. This is a time when the world needs more love. This is a time to receive love from the world.
This is a time to explore crafts and the arts. This is a time to see that I, myself am art, and to admire the beauty of art in others. This is a time for honesty. This is a time for trusting the process. This is a time to be light. I sound like the book of Ecclesiates when it states "There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens" (Ecclesiastes 3:1). I feel as though this is what the universe would have us to remember during this time. That everything has and will serve its purpose. We need not to fret or to be afraid. Fear can put us in a constant state of worry, but courage can allow us to embrace the ebbs and flow of life regardless of which season we are in.
This is a time where I reflect on my resilience and courage; this is a time for me to keep standing up for what I believe in. This is a time for me to own and embrace my beauty and magnificence. This is a time for me to smile more. This is a time for me to feel the smile that I portray. This is a time for the mask to come off and for me to be transparent about how I am feeling. This is a time to rejuvenation and clarity. This is a time to start over; this is a time to be grateful and accepting of what is and was.
My affirmation of the day is :
I trust my process and love myself despite change.
Rebirthing or starting over can be a good thing.
There is a time and season for every beautiful thing.
